What are Collections and Entries?
- Collection: A repeatable content type with a defined schema (e.g. Blog Posts, Team Members, FAQs)
- Entry: An individual item inside a collection (e.g. “How to Get Started”, “Jane Doe”)
How do I set up Hercules Content Management?
Define a collection
Create a collection and define its fields. Example: a Blog Post collection with title (text),
body (rich text), author (text), and featured image (asset).
Publish entries
Publish entries to make them live. You can publish immediately or schedule for later.
What collection field types are available?
- Text: Single-line text input
- Rich Text: Formatted content with headings, lists, images
- Number: Numeric values (integers or decimals)
- Boolean: True/false toggle
- Date: Date picker
- Date & Time: Date and time picker
- JSON: Structured JSON data
- Asset: Upload or select from Files & Media
- Reference: Link to entries in other collections
- Enum: Dropdown with predefined options
- Array: List of multiple values
